Based in our regional referral Emergency Department, HMOs work at the frontline of acute care, managing a diverse case mix including trauma, paediatrics, mental health presentations, and complex medical emergencies. This role offers a valuable stepping stone towards ACEM training, with a strong emphasis on independent decision-making, procedural skills, and critical thinking in a time-sensitive environment.
The program offers regular consultant-led teaching, protected education time, and simulation-based learning, all within a department known for its supportive team culture and strong senior presence.
