Classification: HM13 – HM20 (Relevant to year of experience)
Salary per hour (exc. super): As per award
Hours per fortnight: 76
Employment Status: Full time, Fixed Term

 

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be considered:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree with current General Registration with AHPRA
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ postgraduate clinical experience

The General Hospital Medical Officer (HMO) position is an appointment within a highly regarded regional health service and is suitable for applicants seeking broad clinical exposure across a range of acute and subacute specialties.

The role provides a structured training environment with strong clinical support and opportunities to develop core medical competencies.

Your New Division 

The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, allied health, cancer, dental and mental health services.  We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women’s and Children’s, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
