Position Title: Obstetrics & Gynaecology Senior Registrar

Salary per hour (exc. super): as per award
Hours per fortnight: 86 (inclusive of 10 hours training time)
Employment Status:
12-month full time Registrar position commencing February 2026

As a Senior Registrar, you will work closely with our team and consultants to deliver high-quality care to women while advancing your FRANZCOG training (or equivalent). You'll gain experience in complex obstetrics, birth suite management, and a broad range of gynaecological care, including sub-specialties such as advanced laparoscopic surgery, high-risk obstetrics, colposcopy, urogynaecology, gynae-oncology, and reproductive endocrinology. The role includes teaching and mentoring responsibilities through Monash University School of Rural Health. Our program is tailored to support your individual training goals, with flexible rostering and a strong focus on developing both clinical and non-clinical skills, fostering a gradual transition to independent practice. You'll also benefit from structured feedback and career guidance from experienced consultants.

Your New Division

The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, allied health, cancer and mental health services.  We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women’s and Children’s, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
