Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for leading teams and partnering with others to shape the future of Bendigo Health’s Medical Workforce? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to lead the Medical Workforce Unit and drive excellence across all aspects of attraction, recruitment, retention, and effective management of both Junior and Senior medical staff within our organisation.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the operational performance of the Medical Workforce Unit. Working closely with the People & Culture leadership team and key stakeholders across Bendigo Health, you will provide expert strategic direction and input into workforce planning, development, and management.

Key responsibilities include leading day-to-day operations with a strong focus on service delivery, efficiency, and compliance; ensuring organisational and legislative requirements are met; and building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including shared service providers. You will also promote a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
