Salary per annum exc. super): $120,000 - $140,000 per annum
Hours per fortnight: 76 or 80 (with an ADO every 4 weeks)

Manager Technical Services
As Manager Technical Services , you will lead a team of 10 IT professionals, overseeing network administration, system administration, and infrastructure management. Your mission is to ensure the seamless operation of IT infrastructure across the Loddon Mallee health region, providing technical leadership while deliverying on the Loddon Mallee Digital Roadmap 2026-2030.
This role is your opportunity to demonstrate your capability in operational management, leadership to high performing teams, project execution, and the ability to influence digital transformation across the Loddon Malle health region. While you won’t be hands-on in the technical work, your technical credibility will allow you to effectively lead and guide your team in best practices.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development – Manage, hire, coach, and develop a team of 10 IT Professionals (1 Team Leader, 5 Systems Administrators, 4 Network Administrators).
- IT Strategy Execution – Deliver on the IT roadmap, ensuring alignment with the Loddon Mallee Shared Services Digital Roadmap 2026-2030.
- Infrastructure & Operations – Oversee network, systems, and cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Cybersecurity Awareness – Promote best practices for cybersecurity controls in collaboration with a dedicated Cybersecurity Team.
- Procurement & Fiscal Oversight – Drive vendor management, procurement activities, and cost-effective IT solutions (without direct budget accountability).

Your New Division
The Digital Services Division is charged with delivering technology solutions that deliver on our vision. As well as responsibility for the mainstream ICT services and support the division encompasses Information Technology Services, Architecture and Applications, Clinical Information Systems, the Project Management Office
The Division leverages ICT technologies and expertise to provide the technical foundations for innovation and transformation of our clinical service delivery The Division is instrumental in building a strong culture of utilising health informatics and using data to drive innovation.
Loddon Mallee Shared Services
Loddon Mallee Shared Services (LMSS) provides a shared services ICT support model to 16 health services in the Loddon Mallee region. Bendigo Health as lead agency for the LMSS model delivers these support services through a combination of centrally based staff in Bendigo and dedicated on-site staff at specific health services. The range of ICT support services offered by LMSS includes service desk triaging and support, infrastructure, networking, application support, data and analytics, cyber security, and IT project management.
