The Medical Director - Informatics serves as a critical link between digital health, organisational change and clinical communities in the shared effort to shape responsive, coordinated and safe patient care across the Loddon Mallee region. The Medical Director - Informatics role advocates for issues impacting the medical workforce and patient care related to the implementation of digital health technologies and ensures that there is a requisite level of medical involvement to enable the successful and sustainable achievement of key strategic priorities at a local, State and Federal level.
This position will collaborate closely with Executive and senior management staff to lead and inform clinical and technical teams in clinical information systems implementation and optimisation. The position will be required to work closely with the Nursing & Midwifery Informatics Officer, Allied Health Informatics Officer and to take a leadership role in ensuring the ePR and digital health requirements of clinicians are effectively addressed.

Your New Division
The Clinical Governance Division has a focus on promoting and supporting patient safety and quality of service. It recognises the importance of leadership, culture, patient safety, clinical performance, professionalism and patient care. The Clinical Governance team works collaboratively with other staff to provide high quality clinical governance support and advice, both internally and when supporting our Regional Partner Health Services.
