Salary per hour (exc. super): $166.89 - $216.66 (dependant on Year Level)

Hours per fortnight: 30.4 / 0.43 FTE

The Bendigo Cancer Centre are seeking a suitably experienced Medical Oncology Consultant to join our dedicated team, providing high-quality oncology services across the Loddon Mallee Region. This is a Fixed Term appointment providing consultant leave backfill commencing 2 February 2026 - 2 August 2026. The Fractional Specialist shall contribute to the provision of Medical Oncology services to patients of Bendigo Health at both inpatient and outpatient levels, including ward service, on call and weekend cover across multiple sites including Bendigo Health and other outreach health service partners. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing our existing and future cancer service provisions from the cancer centre to the subregional hospitals with a focus on governance and ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.

Your New Division

The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, allied health, cancer, dental and mental health services.  We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women’s and Children’s, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
