The newly created OHS Specialist – Violence Prevention role is focused on enhancing the management and control of occupational violence and aggression risks across Bendigo Health.
This position requires a blend of clinical expertise, leadership, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
You will partner closely with nurse unit managers, clinical leaders, health and safety representatives, educators, and security staff to ensure a comprehensive understanding, assessment, and control of violence and aggression risks. The role will provide subject matter expertise and lead innovation to strengthen organisational capability in managing behaviours of concern (BOC) across all patient groups, fostering a culture of safety throughout the health service.
