Salary per hour (exc. super): $2,783.20
Hours per fortnight: 80 Hours (includes ADO every 4 weeks)
Employment Status: Fixed Term Full Time - (January 2027)

The Graduate Program provides an opportunity for newly registered Occupational Therapists to make the transition to professional practice in a structured and supported 12 month program. Each graduate is offered two, six month clinical rotations in two areas of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Service. The program encourages consolidation of mental health skills and knowledge within a holistic multidiscipline framework that also includes lived experience workers.
Graduates are expected to attend a study day once a month facilitated by the Mental Health Professional Development Unit and to complete and submit all the required assessment tasks and hurdle requirements to receive a certificate of completion.
You will:
- Recognise the needs of the individual and plan, implement, document and evaluate occupational therapy assessments and treatments for an identified patient group
- Work within a multidisciplinary team and assist in meeting unit/program and organisational objectives to provide high quality, specialist clinical services that focus on consumer recovery
- Actively engage in formal training, regular supervision, reflective practice opportunities, on-the-job learning and development activities within the targeted graduate development program
