Loddon Mallee Shared Services (LMSS) is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Officer & Governance Support to join our Innovation & Digital Services team. This is a unique opportunity to work at a regional level, supporting digital projects, governance and collaboration that directly improve outcomes for health services across the Loddon Mallee.

Reporting to the Regional Chief Information Officer, this role sits at the centre of regional coordination, supporting projects, governance forums and stakeholder engagement aligned to the Loddon Mallee Digital Roadmap 2026–2030.

In this varied and high-impact role, you will:

  • Act as the first point of contact for the Tech Advisory Group (TAG), coordinating requests and driving timely, transparent responses

  • Support regional digital projects through strong governance, coordination, communication and reporting

  • Work closely with project managers, the PMO and executive stakeholders to improve ways of working and service delivery

  • Develop engaging communication materials and support regional collaboration and engagement

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen customer service, performance metrics and governance maturity

 

This role suits someone who enjoys juggling multiple priorities, building relationships and working autonomously in a complex, evolving environment.

Loddon Mallee Shared Services (LMSS)

Loddon Mallee Shared Services provides ICT services to all health services currently within the Loddon Mallee network. The services LMSS provide can range from ICT helpdesk, implementation and management of approved applications to consolidating regional platforms with dedicated support teams.

In addition, LMSS also provide Cyber Security services, deliver large scale ICT projects and initiatives, provide regional system governance and oversee and approve new ICT requests via the Tech Advisory Group.

Accountable to the Loddon Mallee Rural Health Alliance Board, we are governed by the Department of Health rural-public-health-care-agencies-ict-alliance-policy.docx as well as a Joint Venture Agreement between the health services. 

As our major health service within the Loddon Mallee, Bendigo Health is our employing agency and therefore all LMSS staff are predominately governed by Bendigo Health policies and procedures and ways of working.

The Loddon Mallee Digital Roadmap 2026-2030 describes the vision of 'Digital Transformation Together' consolidating our committment to work together and collaboratively to achieve progress and great outcomes. The roadmap concentrates on four key pillars; Reshaping the Foundations, Connected Systems, Regional Governance & Collaboration and Change and Capability Building.
