The Quality and Compliance Partner (QCP) provides expert guidance and support to clinical and operational leaders across Bendigo Health to strengthen capability in delivering safe, high-quality care in alignment with the organisation’s clinical governance framework. The role supports ongoing accreditation readiness and fosters a culture of continuous quality improvement that extends beyond compliance.
Key responsibilities include:

Leading and supporting gap analyses against NSQHS Standards, Clinical Care Standards, and other relevant regulatory requirements.

Developing audits and supporting data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Using data to identify patient safety risks, and assisting teams to design, implement and evaluate improvement plans.
Each QCP partners with designated departments and teams, in addition to holding organisation-wide portfolio responsibilities. Working collaboratively with fellow QCPs and key stakeholders, the role ensures consistency in approach, shared expertise, and coordinated management of demand across the organisation.

Your New Division
Quality and Risk provides leadership and support for quality, compliance, risk, patient safety, consumer experience and engagement and improvement and innovation across the organisation. The division has responsibility for overseeing the risk management framework and compliance to various accreditations and legislative requirements and to ensure improvements are undertaken through our responses to recommendations arising from assessments. There is a strong strategic and operational focus of promoting and advancing continuous improvement, partnering with consumers, and supporting the organisation to review incidents, data and systems to improve patient outcomes and efficiency of the business. The division collaboratively provides high quality clinical governance support and advice, both internally and when supporting health services in the Loddon Mallee Health Services Network.
