Salary per hour (exc. super): $43.82 - $54.41 +25% casual loading
Hours per fortnight: Up to 76 hours

The Community Nurse (District Nurse) delivers high-quality, person-centred clinical care to clients in their homes across the Bendigo region. Working as part of the Community Nursing Service (CNS), this role supports frail older people, younger individuals with disabilities, and their carers to maintain independence, health, and wellbeing within their own homes.
Key responsibilities include medication management, wound care, continence support, diabetes management, health assessments, and client education. The District Nurse works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including specialist continence, dementia, and wound management services, to provide holistic, community-based care and support the prevention of avoidable hospital admissions.
This casual position offers flexibility and the opportunity to pick up shifts on an as-needed basis, including backfilling planned and unplanned leave, supporting service demand, and providing additional workforce coverage across the Community Nursing Service.
