Position Title: Registered Nurse – Mental Health Transition Program
Classification: NP21 - NP70
Salary per hour (exc. super): $36.34 - $48.99
Hours per fortnight: 64
Employment Status: Fixed Term Part Time until February 2027

The Transition Program is an opportunity for Registered Nurses to gain formal training and experience in Mental Health. The program supports the transition from general nursing to mental health with monthly study days, tailored competency based assessments and individual and group clinical supervision. Participants in the program are offered rotations in Mental Health and Wellbeing Services to develop a greater understanding of mental health nursing. Participation in the program includes eligibility for credit points towards Post Graduate qualifications at La Trobe university. Upon successful completion of the Transition to Mental Health program ongoing positions will be offered at a minimum of 0.6FTE
