The Position 

Position Title: Service Desk Officer
Classification: HS1 - HS2 (Based on experience, less experienced and current IT student candidates will be considered)
Salary per fortnight (exc. super): $2,247.80 - $2,568.00
Hours per fortnight: 76 or 80 (with an ADO every 4 weeks)
Employment Status: Ongoing Full Time

The Role

The Service Desk Officer, reporting to the Service Desk Manager, will be the first point of contact for all IT-related support requests, responsible for triaging, diagnosing, and resolving issues. Key responsibilities include handling a wide range of Service Desk activities within the IT Services Department, managing and owning incidents and service requests, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders by providing regular updates. The role will also involve assisting with the documentation of solutions, as well as contributing to the development of policies, procedures, and other IT-related projects as needed, this role is prodementaly onsite at Bendigo Health.

Your New Division

The Digital Services Division is charged with delivering technology solutions that deliver on our vision.  As well as responsibility for the mainstream ICT services and support the division encompasses Information Technology Services, Architecture and Applications, Clinical Information Systems , and Virtual Care Office.

The Division leverages ICT technologies and expertise to provide the technical foundations for innovation and transformation of our clinical service delivery The Division is instrumental in building a strong culture of utilising health informatics and using data to drive innovation.

 

Loddon Mallee Shared Services

The Loddon Mallee Shared Services (LMSS) model provides for a single Regional Chief Information Officer who oversees delivery of the core and non-core services to all members of the Loddon Mallee Rural Health Alliance (LMRHA). The services delivered by the LMSS enable a supported delivery of core services to all agencies within the region, and access to non-core services as required, whilst leveraging its position to engage services to support all agencies.
